"The justice system can be overwhelming, and too often, people can feel powerless against the government. I take pride in being able to stand up for those who may not have anyone else in their corner, ensuring their rights are protected and their voices are heard. To me, it's not just about defending a case. It's about preserving fairness, accountability, and the fundamental principles that make our justice system work. In other words, keeping the government in check.
I was born and raised on a small ranch outside of Floresville, Texas. Growing up on a ranch instilled in me the value of hard work, responsibility, and perseverance. I take these values and lessons with me throughout everything I do in life, including representing clients in the courtroom.
After earning my B.A. in English with an Emphasis in Writing Studies from TAMU-CC, I went on to St. Mary's University to study law. While studying at St. Mary's, I interned at the 81st District Attorney's Office and criminal defense firms in the San Antonio area.
After passing the BAR exam, I started my first job as a prosecutor with the Travis County Attorney's Office, where I handled a wide variety of cases from start to finish, including anything from a simple speeding ticket to DWIs and assaults.
When I am not in the office or in court, you can usually find me around some water with a fishing pole or holed up indoors with a good book."
