I had the fortunate opportunity to grow up both within Texas and across the world—I spent 3 of my very developmental years Attending the American School of Milan in Milan, Italy, before returning to finish out my years of grade school in New Braunfels, Texas (yes— the home of Schlitterbahn, two beautiful rivers, and the school with the Unicorn mascot!).
After receiving my undergraduate degree in Finance from Texas A&M, I then obtained my J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and was licensed to practice in the State of Texas shortly thereafter.
Initially focusing on my interests in property, yet discovering the clear intersection to family law, my legal research and writing skills landed my legal journal comment, Divorce Destroys the Community, for publication in the Estate Planning and Community Property Law Journal in the Spring of 2020. I was also awarded 1st place for The Paper Chase Legal Writing Competition in April 2021, hosted by Baylor Law and TYLA.
Family law was not on my radar when I decided to become an attorney (not even remotely). However, it was hard to ignore just how impactful and important our practice is on a majority of those we interact with daily. Further, I recognized that my combined empathy and competitiveness were equally welcomed in the practice and concluded that family law is where I sought to direct my future.
After graduation, I moved to Waco, Texas to begin my career. Though, I continued to long for the place my heart has always truly been drawn—Austin, Texas. I moved to Austin in 2023 and plan to stay for the long haul!
I pride myself on my ability to explain the law to my clients in a way that ensures they understand the strategies behind my approaches every step of the way. My goal is that clients truly understands the methods to the madness and to allow them to feel they are truly a part of the decision making.
I have always been coined a great listener, and I am so proud that my clients often share how much they trust me. I maintain my practice with reasonableness while maintaining my drive and passion to fight for my clients in the courtroom.
In my free time, I love live music and festivals, spending time with my rescue dogs, Sunny and Fig, spending time around any body of water, weight lifting, and enjoying the outdoors.
