Aryn James Mendoza is a proud first-generation attorney. Her parent were hard working people who pushed her to advocate for the underdog and the downtrodden.
Aryn is an associate attorney who graduated from The University of Texas with a bachelor’s degree in government. Hook ‘em!
Later, Aryn went on to graduate from Baylor School of Law in the Spring of 2023. During law school, Aryn was subjected to the rigorous Practice Court program that Baylor is known for while also serving as an officer in the American Constitutional Society.
While at Baylor, Aryn interned with a dedicated and passionate general litigation firm in Waco, Texas, and learned to defend the rights of those injured, accused, or otherwise in need of assistance, in an ethical, professional and relational construct. Additionally, Aryn had the opportunity to work with the Travis County Office of Child Representation where she discovered how to properly navigate the complexities of litigation involving families and children. This experience led her to change her focus from government and administrative law to family law.
Upon graduating from law school, Aryn began working as a legal assistant, and later as an associate attorney after passing the Uniform Bar Examination, at a reputable family law firm in Buda, Texas. In Buda, Aryn focused her practice on emotionally charged divorces and suits affecting the parent child relationship. Aryn relocated to Cofer & Connelly, PLLC in March of 2024 and has maintained her focus on family law.
